"SHERYL MCGLOCHLIN: Hi, my name Sheryl with ExpertVillage.com, and today we're talking about how to build a campfire in your own backyard in the snow. We have lots of snow, and so that's kind of a funny unique thing. We have cleared out our whole entire pit. And now, we're going to start to add things to the fire and there is a certain order that you would want to add. For instance, the first thing we're adding is what we call kindling. We've already cut these old pieces of shaved wood down and we want the kindling nice and loose. And Oscar is putting in another type of kindling, which is newspaper. And so we're going to just kinda put that nice and loose, and we're getting some of the other wood in here. And there's a certain way that you want to go ahead and put wood. Kind of build it like a little bit of a teepee. So you got your kindling that will all be down here and it'll start to feed up, and there'll be lots of air in between and they'll be able to help build your fire. So, Oscar is going to make sure that this kind of little teepee-type of structure stays up. And lots of times they don't stay up, so you're just going to have to play with them and make sure that they actually stay. It may take you a few times, but the trick is to be able to keep 'em up and the kindling is in the middle. And then we're going to go ahead and light our fire and see what happens."
