"Hi, this is Sean Hobson, and right now we're working with our shooting guards. And one thing that we really want to make sure that our shooting guards understand is they're not just shooting in the offense, but at some point in time they've got to continue to let the offense flow through. And one of the main things that the shooting guards are going to do, like all of our guards, is they're going to be in a pass and screen away situation. So, one thing we want them to do is, we want these guys to be able to, once they make a pass to the wing, to be able to go down and set a good screen. So, Blake, what we're going to have you do right now in the offense is he's going to pass off to the wing. Now, the first thing he wants to do is he wants to run down. You see that when he's coming down to set the screen, he lets the other offensive player know he's coming to set the screen by holding up the arm. He shows the arm, he's going to yell screen. This guy knows he's not just running over to exchange positions, but he's setting a screen on him. Now we see our other offensive player has walked him down two steps and is going to come off of his shoulder. This guy is going to draw a lot of contact. It is very important when he's setting the screen to get a good wide base, to have him set strong, so that when I as a defender try to fight through the screen, that I'm not just going to knock this guy out of the way and fight through the screen easily. He's got to have a good, firm base, he's got to be protecting himself, he's got to be standing strong, so that hopefully if this guy barrels him over, that he's going to be called for a foul. So it's important, as a shooting guard, also to set a good screen."
