"On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Captain Rafael Mayans down here in South Florida with Sea Cross Sports Fishing Inc. Today we are going to explain to you offshore fishing techniques. Okay, trolling as you deploy your line you often see these boats with these long pipes sticking on the side of the boat. Well these are called outriggers. Folks what this does basically is spreads out your spread. What it does it makes your boat wider. They knock down these outriggers. What we do is we go ahead and grab the line, we place our bait in the water, we grab our clicks on our outriggers and we place our line through the clip and as you place the line through the clip, you just slide the clip all the way up. What that is going to do is it is going to spread out your bait all the way to one side of the boat. That way when you are making your turns and your maneuvers, you don't get none of your bait tangled. Your bait is always going to be spread like that. "
