"On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Captain Rafael Mayans down here in South Florida with Sea Cross Sports Fishing Inc. Today we are going to explain to you offshore fishing techniques. Hay wire twist; the knot that I use for wire when I am going to put and place a hook on. Kind of pass the wire through the eye of the hook. Now this is the most crucial part here. You have to make sure the wires are separated and twist both of them at the same time. So both of them got a wrap around each other, once you have five or six wraps. To lock this knot down you are going to want to slide over the wire and come straight up and down on that; another five, six turns. Twist like that and once again, you grab your wire, your tag end and you start twisting, take it off and always make sure you know you got it right when you can slide your fingers through there and not perk your fingers.
