"Hi, this is Mike Lopez with Expert Village. Alright today we will be discussing the open bridge. The open bridge is the most basic bridge of all bridges. Bridges is how you hold the cue to take a shot. Alright you want to bend down in your stance, put your palm on the table. Use weight, do that, put your palm on the table, extend your thumb right next to your index finger and just place the cue in the crease that is naturally formed there. You want to make sure that your fingers are out and spread out that way you have a nice stable base and you don't want any bridging up unless you have to. And then you take and you put the equal distance to the cue and you have a nice steady crease that you can move the cue backwards on and that is the most basic of all bridges."
