"Okay, so, you know basically you get off at high speeds, you get off at low speeds. You get off, you know, when you're bike doesn't roll any more, and you get off when it's quicker or it takes less, less energy to run. The things to remember is swing your leg through when you get off. You know, try to get a nice long stride going as soon as you get off the bike when you're going quickly. When you remount, you want your leg to hit first on the inside and slide on instead of going straight down onto the bike. And you've got, you know, three real primary ways to carry. When you're just getting off through barriers, you usually tend to just keep one hand on the bars, pick up the bike and run. And then when the ground is steeper, you either pick it up, flick it up by the down tube, or sometimes it takes a little bit less energy to pick it up by the down tube and hook the seat over your shoulder. But that's, that's the basics. You know, practice a lot, practice every day if you can. Doesn't take a lot of energy and you know all of a sudden it will be the easiest part of the race."
