"All right, we have the main spring housing out. We have the bold out. And what we're going to do now is separate the barrel and upper receiver from the lower receiver. Now inside a Ruger Mark 2 the catch for these two is right inside. And what it is, it?s just a pressured machine fit. So you can use a rubber mallet, or a regular hammer is what I like to use. And I just cover the back end of my firearm, and I take my left hand. This may take a few bumps. But I'm just going to tap this. And you'll know when it comes loose, because it is just one fit. You heard that little pop there. As you can see right inside here in the lower receiver, this block, this machine block here is the catch for this machine block inside here in the barrel and inside the receiver. Or the barrel and the upper receiver combined. And this is a field stripped Ruger Mark 2."
