"Hey, what's happening everyone? I'm Howard Lefstein and we're back here with expertvillage.com on surfing. Here is my surf student Sean. Sean is putting on his wetsuit. As you can see, I gave him a nice warm 4-3 to wear that we're going to have him put on and wear for us to keep warm. Here's how you do it. You pull up the back flap, take the zipper, let this dangle and zipper it over like that. Now, Sean's protected from the elements. As you can see, he doesn't have any gloves, hoods, or booties because we don't need it. Next, we need to figure out if Sean is goofy or regular. Well, we already know he's kind of a goofy guy so it doesn't really matter. Here's he easiest way to do it. Sean, close your eyes. I'm going to push you backwards. Whatever foot comes back first is your front foot. Your eyes closed? There you go. Right foot back, right foot forward, so that makes Sean a goofy foot surfer. Once again, you close your eyes and you fall backwards. Whatever foot stops you becomes your front foot. That's a natural stance would be left foot forward for regular foot, which is natural. A goofy foot would be right foot forward. That's how we're going to do it today. Sean, you all ready for your first surf lesson. Okay, we’re going to teach you on the 9-6 today. The first thing is we already know you can swim. Make sure you can swim before you go surfing everyone. No need to do any swim tests or anything. Just be able to swim and float if anything happens. Once again, if you do need help just yell for it. Help as loud as you can. Sean, are you nervous? No. Alright, so our next step will be waxing up the board. "
