Video Transcript

" This is Don Daly representing expertvillage.com and in this clip we are going to demonstrate a no holds barred guard pass. Okay again we are in the guard position I want to pass his guard, I need to break his legs open and this variation is good for street fights, good for no holds barred fighting good for no gui grappling. So he has got his guard on, his feet are locked, my hand is here, in one motion I am going to come up to my feet real quick, so I jump to my feet, okay I got it planted firmly, when I come up I am going to come up and throw my hips forward, break his leg out, when I break his legs his hips are off the ground okay. It is important to keep his hips from hitting the ground. If his hips are down he can sweep me, he can take arm bars whatever, so the idea is when I pop up is to keep his hips up here. He cannot sweep he has got nothing to go on. I walk up a little bit, come under take his ankle push to the side, come down, take side control. Okay so again real important to push the hips forward so after we jump the hips come up, okay his hips off the ground, reach around, ankle down side control."
