" Hi my name is Dan and I'm here with Expert Village and today I'm going to show you how to tie the jug knot. This knot is especially useful if you have to carry a number of bottles that don't have handles as you can make a simple easy handle for them. Again with a bight of rope or a bend have your bight laying on top of your two tail ends. Cross your loops and take you line in the middle and feed underneath over through the little loop that you just made in the center of knot, and out through the top and you then you need to do is flip both sides of the knot down, and tighten by pulling all four ends. I would tie it one more time. This makes a very easy knot to tie. It is easy to tighten and to loosen. So make your two loops. Cross them. Take the loop from the middle and go under, over, and out. Then flip the two ends of the knot down. You know if you tied it correctly if the knot is very symmetrical. That is the jug knot."
