" Hi my name is Dan and I'm here with Expert Village and today I'm going to show you how to tie the double bowline or French bowline. This is similar bowline of a bight and then you end up with two loops but these loops are easy adjustable. Begin as you would with tyeing a single bowline. Make your loop but instead of finishing your bowline go around make a loop and come back up and through. Now finish your bowline. One you are left with are two adjustable loops. This is useful as you can wrap one loop around your body and the other around your legs and use it as sort of a sit if you need to suspend yourself to a tree. I can tie one more time. The double bowline."
