" Hi my name is Carey Kepler, I’m a functional training coach. I coach triathletes and do triathlons myself. If you would like to improve your sports performance, improve the quality of your life or have questions about the following exercise please contact me at http://www.boundless-energy.com. This following exercise is to improve the strength for your bike leg. When you’re biking it’s a single leg dominant exercise so you want to make sure you train strength on a single leg. What you’re going to do, this is a split squat. You’re going to take a bench, you want to make sure you stand forward and place the back of the foot, the top of the foot, onto the bench. As you lunge down, squat down, you want to make sure that the knee does not go over the toe and make sure that the femur, the thigh parallel to the ground. Perform ten to twelve repetitions on each leg working up to twenty reps. "
