"Okay at this point hopefully you have tried riding your bike and you enjoy cycling and are ready to take it to the next level. Now where do you begin. Well first thing you need to do is to connect with your local bike shop. Find a bike shop that is well rounded and typically most good bike shops will have what we call a group ride or a club ride and you can talk to the owner and see about going out and riding in a group. Now riding in a group is really important before you get into any type of competitive racing because you need to get used to being with other cyclist, the movement of other cyclist and you will develop some more handling skills being with other riders. You also get the benefit of learning from the riders that are more skilled than yourself. So first start get with a bike club, get with a team, go out and start riding in a group. "
