"ALVIN DEDEAUX: Okay, if you're trout fishing, and for some other types of fishing too but mostly for trout fishing, strike indicators. You almost always are going to be using those if you're fishing with sink and flies. And there's a bunch of different types of strike indicators. This is a real common one, yarn. It's got a little O-ring to attach it to your line. These are just little pieces of foam that you fold over and pinch on your leader. There's little strike indicators, it look like bobbers, a little cork I could use on a cane pole. Another thing a lot of people are using nowadays is balloons, these little party balloons. They're cheap. Just blow them up just a little bit, tie them on your line and it'll float all day, and they're fun to play with too."
