"Hi I'm Christopher Howell and I'm speaking on behalf of Expert Village. Now one of the most important things when it comes to running is stretching. Now I find that I like to do the sitting stretches first and then the standing up stretches. So I'm going to go ahead and show you a few of my stretches. First go ahead and take a sit on the ground. Go ahead and spread your legs and you want to start of by stretching to the right. Lean down as far as you can, grab your toe; you don't have to grab it but it always helps if you can. You just want to stretch to 10-12 seconds. After stretching to the right, we’re going to go ahead and stretch to the left for about 10-12 seconds. Then to the left then you go to the middle to 10-12 seconds. You want to stretch as far as you can. If you feel like you feel like you could go further down but you are having problems, always get someone to assist you. Have them stand behind you and slowly push your back down, and slowly go down the middle. Not too fast because you don't want to pull anything or get yourself hurt. Just keep it safe and nice and slow. After you stretch just like that, go to the hurdle stretch. Pull your left leg again, again, hands up reach for it and try to touch your toes. Lean down as far as you can for about 1-15 seconds. Then you switch over again 10-15 seconds. Now if you cant do this stretch because you have some type of injury, just go ahead a skip it and see if you can do the next stretch. "
