"Hi! I'll talk a little bit about the equipment that we're going to be using today and basically the benefits why Pilates is so great. It basically uses the spring method, which is great just because the muscles are working concentric and eccentric, so it works both ways, which gives a lot of flexibility and strength for the muscle. This particular machine is called Cadillac. There's a variety of exercises we can do on this one, but the one that we're going to do today, we're going to use the roll down bar and we're going to use the push through bar. This piece of it is called reformer. It's great because it's also based on springs resistance. We use this machine for a lot of variety of exercises that strengthen the legs, the feet, and the arms, abdominals. We're going to do some exercise with the feet in the straps. These are the straps for the feet. This is the jump board. We're going to show you a couple of exercises with this. It's just a great piece of equipment that gives a lot of variety of exercises."
