" Hi! My name is Corey Beasley, owner of DNA Fitness. Right now I am going to walk you through a few different variations of a push up. First we are just going to start with the basic pushup. Your hands are going to be about shoulder width apart, you are going to come up on your toes, bellybuttons tight. What you are going to do is, you are just going to come straight down, press up, straight down, press up. You wanted to see that from the side again, bellybutton is tight. Straight down, press up. Couple variations as you get stronger. One is on your fist, obviously it keeps your wrists straight. So if you having problems here, coming on your fist might alleviate some of the pain that has happened in your wrist, but again same thing stomach tight, come on straight down, press and up. Same thing again on the fist. Straight down pressing up. Another variation you can do is you can have your hands little closer together. Some people called diamond pushup, narrow pushup, put your hands come right together, to bring that diamond to your chest and press up. It is a lot more your triceps muscle and the next one we are going to do is the finger tip pushup. Obviously, you have got to have a lot of strength in your hands, lot of strength in your fingers, but just like it sounds, you are coming right upon your fingertips, bellybuttons tight, coming straight down, press and up. Obviously for woman if it is too difficult for you do it from your toes, you can always do it from your knees, straight from your knees to your shoulders, stomach is tight, coming down and back up. So there is some good variations for pushup. Gives you lots of different options, so you never get bored."
