"The next exercise is called single leg lift. So, inhale and on the exhale just gently float one leg up to table top position. Inhale here and exhale gently float it back down to the floor. The idea is that the contraction in your lower abs is so strong that it's not about the hip flexors or the front of the thighs picking the leg up but rather the lower abs contracting and allowing that contraction to just gently float the leg up and then to put it back down again. So, inhale, exhale to float it up, inhale at the top, and exhale to put it down. Gently, without slamming down on the floor. Exhale, pick up the other leg and put it back down again on the floor."
