Moving on the with the "L" step. And "L" step is a front approach and an end approach. So I start with my right lead coming off slightly to the side of the bench, and leading off the end of the bench, stepping back up and down. So if you look it traced and "L" pattern on the floor. Then the other side leading with the left. Step up, side, up and back. So then my "L" step goes the other way. Or the right way. So it moves off the ends of the bench from a front approach. It is eight counts. It moves from foot to foot. So there's never any tap down. Eight counts. Five, six, seven, eight. Again moving from the side, you can tap down, or I'm sorry tap up on the bench. Reach out or do a little karate punch or do a little kick to complete the "L" step from side to side.
