"Hi, we're going to talk about a basic trick that you need to learn to learn how to skate ramps and that is simply turning around in a curve transition. Turning around on the ramp is similar to doing a kick turn on the flat ground except that you need to distribute your weight evenly. Make sure to approach the ramp with your knees bent, let your back wheels either pivot to return your board to the straight position or let them roll up parallel to the copping and then back in. The trick is to lift your nose and always keep your weight towards the back of the board even if the front of the board is lifted. Bend your knees and roll away. Learning this trick will prepare you for more advanced ramps tricks. Notice when first learning how to turn around the trunks, don't hit the top of the copping even if the board goes above the deck of the ramp. Approach, the board is above the deck turn on the back wheels, bend your knees and drop in. Once you master turning around on transition, you can move on to more advanced tricks like turning around and doing stalls at the top of the deck of the ramp on the copping."
