"I'm Kelli and this is Covey on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you my options and techniques on how to groom your horse. The last thing we would do before we prepare to saddle our horse is we are going to spray her with a little bit of fly spray to keep the bugs off, keep her from being annoyed while we are riding cause it is really hard for them to focus on what we are asking them to do when we are riding if they are being annoyed by bugs. So we are just going to spray it all over her. Some horse's might have a tendency to kind of dance around a little bit. Either they do not like the sound of the spray or they don't like the feel of it hitting their skin but she is really good about it. So we would walk around to the other side, make sure that we are enough distance away from her hind feet. Covey. So I would let her know that we are back over here. I'm just going to spray it, especially considering on the legs and the belly is which where flies like to bite. So this is a citronella, it works really well in keeping off all types of bugs or flies, mosquitoes, just regular black flies tends to bite the horse. So fly spray is really nice thing to apply to your horse to keep them more comfortable when you ride."
