"After a hard workout if your horse has built up a sweat, it is important to make sure that you allow them to walk and to cool off. Also on a wintry day it is important to have a puller handy. The puller is going to keep the horse from getting chilled too quickly. After working a sweat and exposing that sweat to cold air, the horse could become cold. Keeping the puller on it just insulates breeze and keeps your horses body at a more reasonable temperature. It is also going to decrease the risk of causing colic. "
