"Hi, I'm Kelli and this is Covey and on behalf of Expert Village we are going to show you my options and techniques on how to free lunge your horse. So that we have switched directions, I'm going to have her turn around and go in a walk. So I'm going to make sure the get up her at her shoulder pointing my whip at her hatches. So she would stay out in the rail. I'm holding my whip nice and low. Cause I don't want her to take off running or do anything crazy. I just want her to walk around really nice and slow. Give her a little cluck if she wants to stop. Hold my whip at her if she wants to come in off the rail a little bit so she would stay out on the rail. It does not come in towards me. Whoa. Whoa, walk. She decides to pick up a little speed and trot and just talk to her and tell whoa, walk. Hold our whip down so she slows down and breaks back to the walk which is the gate that we want her at. We never want them to get away with listen or doing commands on there own. We want to make sure especially when we are free lunging them like this. Where we have no control over them we want to make sure they are listening to us so we don't want them to get away with doing there own thing. Whoa. That is how you want to walk in the opposite direction. "
