"Hello! I'm coming to you from Dogma Premier Dog Spa in Wayne, Pennsylvania and today we're going to do some demonstrations on how you can do creative coloring for your pet. We use completely safe nontoxic materials. One technique you will see we will wash off pretty much immediately. The other technique fades over time and it may take up to 6 weeks to wash off completely. Now is where we put the color on the dog. This is Destiny; she's a west highland terrier. Already very tightly groomed. We are going to be doing her skirt and legs in pink. We'll do some stencil work on her back when her bath is done. Okay. This is manic panic. The color is called hot hot pink. I actually bought this for basting. It works very very well for the color. This dog is very thin coated, so I don't need to work it in. I just basically lay it right over the top of the coat. You can also use a paint brush and place of this basting. I do like this because it rinses out real easily. You can also use plain stainless steel comb to work it out. He doesn't like that idea quite as much."
