"On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Carlos Puentes with K-9 Solutions Dog Training in Miami, Florida, and today we're going to talk about dog training myths from my new book, Who's Training Whom? Okay, really nice toy, nice and soft and plush, but you don't want to use this as a toy for a dog. It's great for kids. It's hard for a dog to differentiate this with your sofa or your cushion. He figures this is just another toy that I get petted for chewing. You want to make sure you don't use this, great for kids though. This one's no good either. It encourages tug-a-war. Most people buy these so that they can pull it. It just teaches dogs to tear things up. No good, not even for fetch because he still has it in his mouth and he learns to tear these things up, including your furniture. You want to make sure that the toy is big enough for the dog not to swallow whole, hard enough so he can't tear it up and swallow it in pieces, and so this would be a good toy for him. You can get another bigger ball, Frisbee for a dog like this. On behalf of Expert Village, thanks for watching."
