"Dog's like Sadie need to be de-shedded. Their undercoat comes out, you can see as I'm pulling that the top coat and the undercoat come out when they're shedding their winter coat and getting their summer coat in and that's what Sadie is doing. So there are a lot of specialty products out there, combs that you can use to get the hair out. But I like to use a regular forty blade and you pull it against the fur here and you can feel it. See how it's bringing it all out. You don't want to bring it this way; you want to, like you?re combing it through her hair and it pulls the undercoat out and leaves the nice top coat in. You can stretch the skin and pull. I have a couple of different blades that I use, but this one is a good blade to use. And you just go in sections, we're going to go around her neck and get all of this around her neck. You can see a lot of it coming out. It's quite time consuming, but the neck area is the heaviest of the coat. So you can see all of this coming out. Just like the different shedding combs that you see advertised."
