"Hi I'm Rachel Dayan for Expert Village. Now I'm going to show you how to grease the pan. Greasing the pan is very important because if you don't grease it right the cake might stick to the bottom of the pan, if you want to take it nicely and smoothly and of course you don't want any pieces to be left on the pan. It is important to make sure that all area all pan area is covered with oil or spray. You can use a spray, spray the pan I actually prefer oil and flour as you can see cause I believe it is healthier. Margarine and flour or spray it as you wish. So I'm going to take a little bit of oil and pour a little bit inside just a drop, take a napkin of a towel paper and just smear it around. Don't forget that the cake is going to rise so you want even the top parts of the pan to be covered with grease. In the middle to it is very, it happens a lot of time that people forget to grease the middle part and then actually you bake a cake and half of it stays on the pan. So we do the middle. Then I'm going to take a little bit of flour and first I'm going to do the middle and then I'm going to bang on it a little bit and shake it around. Just to let the flour stick to the side of the pan. A little bit more, what ever is left you put it back in the dish you don't leave it inside the pan. "
