"Carrying your kayak all by yourself if all about balancing and planning ahead and you want to remember to use your legs not your back to lift your kayak cause you want to be able to paddle. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to bend down with my knees and I'm going to put my kayak on edge this is one method I will show you a few. Then what I'm going to do and I will slide it towards you a little bit so you can see I'm going to bend my knees here, slide it up on my knees and I'm going to use 1 of my legs to kick up the kayak and reach across. As I do I find a comfortable place on my shoulder. I can then stick my hand right in towards the bow to help balance this is one to get it up. But kicking it up on you knee could sometime be difficult so let's show you another method to get it down by the way you just do the exact opposite just rolling it down slowly, placing it down again trying to use my knees instead of bending over my back. In this case I'm going to try to reach towards the bow and then I'm just going to slowly slowly get the boat on edge. Got a slippery surface on here so once it is up like this right on it's end where I have the bow up in the air and the stern down towards the ground I'm just going to slightly let it tilt over, as I do so grab that thigh brace and let it tilt right on to your shoulder. Then you can adjust it on your shoulder for what feels comfortable. The next cool equipment and this is the cool move stick your toe on your paddle if you can do it and flip it up to your hands. If you can do that just ask a friend to pick up that would take some practice."
