"If for some reason you're expecting a mount of force on the end of the rope, more than you can hold or the potential of you getting pulled into an unfortunate situation then you can use people around you in what we call a buddy belay. Now using this second person, they can hold on to the shoulder straps behind you and get a really good grip and give you a little extra support. So while you're on the end of the rope they can hold you down into the floor or the place that you're standing on so that you have a better support. If at any one point the force increases or your footing becomes unstable then you can sit down and this person can assist you sitting down. As you slide down to your bum and they're going to put their knee in the small of your back and push down on your should straps to keep you on the floor so that the rope isn't gonna get pulled out from under you. The one thing that you want to be sure of is that they're not pushing you forward and they're not pulling you back where you're gonna come unstable. And, again, when you get up into this situation, they've got the shoulder straps in behind you, they can help lower you down, so they can give you some support, and it goes something like this. "
