"Okay, so in this section, I'm going to be showing you how to pick out your outer water. In particularly, how to pick out your snowboarding jacket. What you'll notice about the different styles of jacket is that some are thicker, some have down lining inside of them, for a pretty generic snowboarding jacket you want something that isn't too tight depending on your personal preference so you can layer clothes underneath, layering is more effective than just buying a really thick jacket that you can't fit anything in underneath, so you want to buy something that like you can fit extra layers in. Another key thing that you want to pay attention to is that all jackets have, they measure how waterproof the jacket is. And this rating system goes from five-thousand millimeters all the way up to thirty-thousand. Unless you're snowboarding in Alaska where it's really cold and you really, really need to stay waterproof, I wouldn't shoot for something thirty-thousand, around that area. Shoot for something like ten-thousand, fifteen-thousand. Those are pretty much your generic snowboarding jackets. Along with this waterproof measurement, there's also a breathability measurement. This is rated similar to the way to the waterproofing is in that it goes from on a thousand scale from five-thousand and above. It's really important that you pick a jacket that has high breathability because you don't want to keep the moisture from your body inside your jacket, you want to be able to let yourself breathe. This is going to make it so sweat's not going to stay inside and you're not going to be soaking wet on the inside which isn't comfortable for anyone. You want to be comfortable when you're snowboarding. It makes it so you can have more fun, comfort equals fun when snowboarding. As you can see with this jacket, right here, there's a lot of different features on it. Jackets have cargo pockets, different pockets inside for your cell phone, for your iPod, so go to the shop and pretty much see all the different jackets they have. See what you like, see what you don't like, they have baggier fits, slimmer fitting fits, pretty much everything. They cater to each individual they have. So go, check out the different brands, try it on, see what you like, and that's pretty much how you pick out a snowboarding jacket."
