"O.k, the next drill we'll go over is basic quick plays. And, this first play is the basic pick and roll. And, you use this when you're on the perimeter and you need to get away from your defender as quick as possible. By using your teammate, you're dribbling, and you call the quick play, pick and roll, and your defender comes up, to pick your defensive man you roll off and around, and they roll to the basket, then you can pass them the ball for the easy layup. Once again, real quick. And, this works anywhere around the perimeter when you're away from the basket, pick and roll. She comes and picks my man whose defending me, rolls off and I give her the pass for the easy layup. And that's the pick and roll play. "
