"Okay, another very important piece of equipment that you need is your hockey stick. I have an Easton, a very popular brand, wood stick. I use a wood just because it's durable, I like the flex of it and it's just very comfortable to use. A lot of players use different sticks; it's just what they feel comfortable with. Find one that you feel comfortable with and make sure it's the stick you really like. You're going to use it for a while. The most important thing you need to do is, cutting it to length. Now typically ever since I've been playing hockey I've always been told, cut it when you're on skates. Cut it to where it would meet at your chin. That provides a good length for you and you can stick handle and it works good with shots and it's not too long."
