" Alright now we are going to discuss how to grip a baseball bat. And it’s very simple if you want to rest it on your shoulder, you want to line up these knuckles right here on your hand to these knuckles right here on your left hand if you are right handed. And what it’s going to do is it’s going to force you to hold it, this is going to force you to be in the right position and not back here which is a tendency for some people who are just starting out to have the bat you know lodged back here in this part of your hand. When you do that several things happen, you don’t get the kind of bat speed that you want and you are not able to role over with your top hand the way it should. And we will discuss that a little bit later. But right now the grip that you want to have is just line up your knuckles, just like that and feel the bat soft in this part of your fingertips."
