"Another piece of equipment to have a good assortment of in the gym is your hand weights and we're not exactly talking about the big ten or fifteen pound ones that you're going to be using for barbell lifting type of thing; but, more so the smaller ones that we're going to be using for sparring. These here are like a one pound weight. Very good to when you're doing some shadow boxing. You can actually throw your punches with the weight in your hand. A one pound weight can be used by the juniors as well as the seniors. A one pound after all is almost the same thing you're going to be using in a boxing glove, you know with a sixteen ounce sparring glove. So this gives you a good simulation of actually having the gloves on. We also have some in a three pound weight, a little bit bigger and these cans be used in a little bit different situation where not only are you shadow boxing, but you're actually going for power while you're shadow boxing. So, you're getting the thrust at the same time you're getting the good power workout. Some of the newer ones on the market are a little bit softer, less easy to lose. They have a little strap on it and they are also adjustable so you can add weights to it just with the flip of the switch screw here. You can add weights to it. So you can then go from a one pound add a another weight series to it and go up to three pounds with them. Try to have a good assortment of hand weights in your gym as well. Thank you."
