"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Laura Bandford and I'm going to teach you how to make a delicious chicken pot pie. Obviously a chicken pot pie needs some chicken, now you can buy store bought chicken and just dice it up and put in the pot pie. But if you wanted to make it yourself I just like to show you how to do it. Your going to take a non stick skillet I have two trimmed boneless chicken breast. I have some savories carrots and celery for flavor, salt and pepper of course. So what we are going to do is I'm just going to add some water to (doesn't matter how much) the chicken breast not to be covered totally in the water. Take these put them in there, take our savories add them in, a little salt a little pepper and what you are going to do and this is poaching chicken breast. Your going to bring it to a boil turn it down to a simmer cover it loosely with a little foil, like I said bring it to a boil turn it down to a simmer and let is cook for about twelve to fifteen minutes just until the chicken is just cooked through. In the next clip we are going to work on our potatoes."
