"Hi my name is Karl James owner of Creolesoul catering located in Round Rock, Texas and on behalf of Expert Village I'm here to show you how to make hot links. Okay our ingredients and the things we are going to need to make our sausage are our hot links anyways since there are hot links we are going to make them that hot. So we are going to use 2 different kinds of peppers we are going to use a dry red chili pepper as well as some green Serrano peppers. And we are going to use these to push the heat in those links we are also going to use some salt and pepper, some paprika, as well as a little bit of chili powder to give it that red coloring, of course our Cajun seasonings, our creole seasonings, and a lot of cumin. A lot of cumin, cumin is that flavor in the links. You could use pork butt, pork shoulder, we are going to use a pork shoulder for this it is on the bone so we are going to have to cut in off the bone and cut it to pieces so we can send it through our grinder that is sitting over here. Also some casing so we can stuff those sausages in the casing, some string. String to tie off the sausage in the size links that you might want. If really want to kick the heat up just a little bit more we got some ground red peppers sitting over here that we may dash into that. Anyway this is the ingredients that we need and let's get started."
