"Hi my name is Nate McCullough on behalf of Expert Village. In these clips we're going to talk about the proper way to remove and replace a front wheel drive vehicles valve joint. In this clip we're going to talk about final disassembly to gain access to our valve joint. We have the spindle, the CV joint nut busted off, and the spline is broke loose. We have the ball joint out of the spindle, now what we're going to do is take it and slide out our constant velocity joint right there. This is our vehicles ball joint, as you can see the grease seal was damaged and what that does is allow water to enter into the joint. Anytime that these seals are damaged, I don't know if they are available to purchase just the seal. I've never been able to find one. You may be able to, but normally when the seal is damaged you have to replace the whole joint assembly."
