"Hi, I'm Doug I work with 20 great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods and we are going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. Candy coat; this has pigment in it but you can see through it. We apply this over the metal flake to give the paint greater depth and to kill the metal flake a little bit. If we where to just spray the metal flake over the base maroon, it would be really bright gold metal flake and you would see it to much. We want to show the parent color and the depth that the candy gives you. "
