"What we're doing on this vehicle, we're replacing this front frame rail section. Here's the new part right here and what's most important is that we drill out the factory welds and replace this part exactly at the same seams where it was in at the factory. What you don't want to do in this case is to cut a piece of this out and section the piece in the middle because as we've discussed before on previous videos, that will change the structure integrity of this rail. You don't want to do that. So, what we do is we take our drill, and we're going to drill out all these weld points, break them all loose with the air chisel. Coming like so underneath and it will separate all these panels, we will bring out the existing damaged rail. The reason why we're changing it is because the structure integrity has been lost. Even though it has been pulled on the framacy, it has lost its strength. So, once we have this off, we'll be putting a new piece on, welding it in place, and then it's very important so that there is no rust or corrosion inside to spray what they call cavity wax, inside this new piece, sealing the inside spot wells and then on the outside you use a welding primer to seal the outside wells so that way there is no corrosion problem."
