" Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip, I will be taking you through part 1 of flushing your cooling system. Now this method of flushing your cooling system is also known as the poor man's way of flushing your cooling system, and that is because it doesn't require any type of expensive machinery. The first thing that you are going to want to do is locate your radiator cap. Typically it is located towards the front of the engine, and it will say on top that there is pressurized fluid; and to make sure, you do not open it when it is hot. Next locate the radiator plug, which is located right here. Now the location of this is at the bottom of the radiator, on either the left or right side underneath your car. So a little better view of where that is located; I have the front of the car here. It is on the bottom left side of the radiator underneath the car, so that is where that orange or red light is hanging from underneath the car. It is on the back side of the radiator and again, it looks like a wing nut. Now it is not necessary to raise your car up as long as you can get down and reach your hand inside and grab onto that wing nut. "
