" Hello! This is Dan from Eastern Mountain Sports on behalf of expertvillage.com and in this clip I’m going to be discussing mental preparation in rock climbing. Being mentally prepared when rock climbing is a huge skill that you must master to be a good climber. Before many of the professional athletes climb they do a lot of relaxing techniques such as Yoga and when you’re animus and just getting into the sport it’s definitely a good idea on a lower level just to clear your mind and focus on nothing but the fact that the rock’s in front of you, just to relax, take a few deep breaths and just clear your mind and just focus on just climbing."
