"I've taken you through a lot of different microphone set ups on our XH A1, here. I just want you to remember that, think about the situation and what you're shooting and think about what the best Mic set up for that situation will be. Throughout all these videos I've been giving you hints and tips on what situations what MICS work best in. Also, if you've made it to the end, hopefully you've bought an external microphone to use with your XH A1. I definitely recommend it. I bought my microphone before I bought my camera because I knew I was going to need it. Think about that, and remember setting up two MICS as well, is a great way to be safe and record extra audio in case one Mic fails or something happens. Also, a great way to set up, combine the best aspects of two different MICS. Like a Lavalier on your interviewer and then a Shotgun Mic to pick up people they're talking to. And it combines the best aspects of each Mic. Think about the two MICS set up, remember to switch it over to channel one down here so you get both, a Mic in each channel. Also remember, very basic, but your XLR input is not on until you go into your menu and turn it on under your audio set up. Otherwise, you're just getting your on-board Mic. So, definitely think about using external MICS on your XH A1. I don't think you should be using such a great camera without a great Mic. Something to think about using external MICS on Canon's XH A1 High Definition Camcorder."
