"Hello this is Ron with Expert Village and I'm talking about how to put together a garage sale. First of all is people have to know about it, so the best place for people to know about it of course is in the newspaper. Call, find your local newspaper, not just your regular newspaper that's like the local favorite or the county favorite but also Thrifty Nickel, anything that is really highly distributed in your area that has garage sale listings. Depends on the size of your town and the paper this can cost you from 5 bucks to $25, maybe a little bit more depending. But you're going to want to be in the newspaper, there are certain people that actually looks in the papers, make their routes and go to every garage sale. You want to have it there just in case, so yes it will cost you a little bit of money but it will definitely be worth the exposure."
