"SONJIA CUHER: On behalf of Expert Village, this is Sonjia Cuher. Well, buying gifts for people that you love or for some people that you just probably want to see once, is always fun. I'm going to show you the kind of stuff that I actually take every time. I get requests from different friends, family, and I also take gifts, but to sum I have 1 godson and 1 goddaughter, and I help to support them. People love electronics, believe it or not. So cameras, it's--they're going to be--they are going to be thrilled and happy if you take a camera, because the price is--I mean, if you [SOUNDS LIKE] pick the 100 dollars, probably you [SOUNDS LIKE] order you're going to pay as much in taxes, so the same camera is going to end costing like $600. Another thing I'm taking this time is a projector for a professor. He needs a projector. Probably in Peru, this projector will cost double than it cost here. But for small gifts to take, for people that you're just going to meet, candy, American candy. Don't forget the American flag. It's so much fun, anything that will remind them your stay. Silly things like this, girls will love these things. Simple but fun, and it is really funny, but some named brands, they are always welcome. Nothing too expensive because if you go too expensive they don't probably even know, but middle range, they like it, they like anything that says "made in USA." Jeans made in USA, hiking shoes, anything. Avoid anything that says "Made in China" because they will read it and then say, "Oh, it's not from the United States." I also take books or calendars, and people love all kind--just everything that will remind them of United States. Calculators, more candy, and--oh, this is not a commercial but I bought from Shuffles to the iPhone, that's the hot item right now. They will unblock the iPhone there, no problem whatsoever and that is going to work, but be very careful when you go through customs you just have to pretend that that's yours."
