"Hi I'm Geeta, a beautician and hairdresser from India. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to make your own face mask. Ok now we can also use some fruits and vegetables available at home as our homemade mask for different types of skin. Some commonly used fruits and vegetables for these homemade masks are there in front of me. I would like to show you certain recipes of these fruits and vegetable masks. Now we can take a cucumber, which is very easy. Grate it. Now this grated cucumber makes you, gives you a very nice soothing and cooling face mask for the dry type of skin. It also lightens the complexion of the skin. You can even directly apply this on the face. Now you can even use bananas. These face masks are very easy to prepare, very quick to use. You can easily smash the bananas with the help of a fork. As banana is a very tender fruit. It brightens the complexion. These smashed bananas can be directly used on the skin. Now again, papaya is another great fruit which removes the dead cells from the skin as it contains such substances which helps in peeling of the skin. Papaya can also be mashed in the same manner as we did banana. Take the soft portion of the papaya as it will make the application of this mask easy on the face. Remove the tough portion aside because it might not be easy to apply on the skin. So these mashed papayas will make a great mask for dry types of skin. Another good fruit is orange. Orange is a citrus fruit. It helps to remove the darkness and brightens the complexion and gives the fresh feel to the skin. Tomato puree. Tomato puree is again good, citric or citrus fruit. Which also helps in peeling the skin and it's good for the skin with acne and pimples."
