In Western culture, cosmetics and make-up are more popular than ever, with thousands of products available to choose from. Traditionally, makeup comes in liquid, cream or powder form, and is used to add color to the face and hide freckles, blemishes and other imperfections of the skin, giving a healthier, more youthful appearance.
