" Hi! I’m William Myers with Subaru for Expert Village. So after you check your ATF and you find out that you have to add some automatic transmission fluid to your transmission, the fluid goes into the same place as where you just checked it. So all you have to do is you pull your dip stick out, you put your long funnel in put it right in the hole, tap it down, that’s where you would add your automatic transmission fluid to your transmission. Don’t add a whole a lot add a little at a time because it’s harder to pull the fluid out than it is to add. So once you’ve finished adding now remember you can add your fluid with the engine running or the engine but you can only check the ATF with the engine running. That’s how you add automatic transmission fluid to your automatic transmission in a Subaru."
