Video Transcript

"Hi! I am Marianne, and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I will be discussing dining etiquette. This topic is on placement of your silverware items when you have already begun eating, and also when you have finished. Once you have started eating, and you decide to stop eating and rest for a little bit, you need to leave your utensils on your plate, you don’t put them back on the table. When you are actually finished eating you want to place your utensils back on your plate. You don’t separate them or put them apart; you put them close together next to each other and just lay them on the plate. That is the proper way of using your utensils when you have completed eating."
