This is key number two, delegate. You need a team for success. There are many different roles that need to be taken care of either by one person if you are a superwoman or a superman putting on a bachelor auction by yourself or typically with a team of maybe 4 to 6 friends or colleagues that will help you. In an earlier segment I mentioned the entire process that you need to go through in a nutshell. Let's start with evaluating appropriateness which we did, then finding bachelors, getting the venue, marketing the bachelor, packages and the bachelors for your attendance and publicity, then designing the schedule and the amenities that the guests will enjoy that night, staffing your event and following up. If you have a team you will want individuals to take responsibilities for these different roles, so you may want to write this part down. You will need someone who works on getting bachelors. Getting their personality details, their questionnaires and such filled out and returned. Coaching the bachelors into how they are going to be able to bring in the most bids and the raise the most money for your event and donations, helping the bachelors figure out what would make good donation packages, that's really one role. You can use someone else to take care of venue planning like the food, the drink, the schedule and the layout of how you want the room to be. Another role is formating and printing the paperwork. You will want to print up a program that has the bachelors pictures and some descriptions and you also want to make a display where people could get more detailed information. Another role is the marketing. The tickets, the promotion and getting people to attend your event and getting the public to know that you are holding it. Next is the set up of the event, the display, the monitoring and troubleshooting anything throughout the night. Finally you will need someone to collect funds and you will probably want to do the follow up personally with the bachelors and the winning high bidders after the event. Note that even if you are putting on this bachelor auction all by yourself, really all those steps have to be taken care of, so it's best to enlist some friends and family or other support members who can help you.
