Your i Pod supports a multitude of different audio files from MP3 to AAC to protected AAC, which is available from the i Tunes music store, to AIFF, Wave, and the new proprietary Apple lossless codec, which is available for both PC and Mac. When it comes to video i Pods, there’s a multitude of different file types that are available for playback in i Tunes.
